Some users are having trouble uploading to Photoshelter. The current workaround is to install a previous version of Photo Mechanic. http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=10170.0
Apple OS X 10.11 "El Capitan"
The latest version of Photo Mechanic is supported on Apple OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) and core functionality has been tested and verified. However, some issues that do not affect core Photo Mechanic functionality have cropped up that we are working hard to fix. If you rely on affected functionality (see below), we strongly suggest that you do not update the Mac where you use Photo Mechanic to El Capitan.
- RAW rendering in El Capitan may have a memory leak that causes PM to crash with zooming in on RAW images. Workaround is to turn off Raw rendering in PM. http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=10062.0
- Photo Mechanic on El Capitan may not reflect changes to Finder sidebar in El Capitan. Forum post: http://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=10069.0
Using Apple Mail client to send images from Photo Mechanic in El Capitan results in empty message warning (See forum post)Fixed in build 16960
- Selecting photos from and dragging and dropping them to Apple Mail results in only one image being sent. (Workaround: Use PM to email images)
Prior versions of OS X
- Image Capture can no longer be configured within Photo Mechanic. Workaround: Configure Image Capture Manually
